Who we are

Spy Pig is made by SPENCER AI (ABN 31 978 335 623), Victoria, Australia ("we", "us"). We follow the Australian Privacy Principles. Contact: welcome@myspencer.ai.

What the app keeps on your phone

To work, Spy Pig saves these in its own storage on your phone:

• your answers, including your head-to-head picks and how long each question was on screen (used only to check your answers can be read)
• your results, past results and the stage you chose
• the name you type for your report, if you add one
• pathway ticks, reflections, check-ins, and whether parts of your report rang true for you
• your region (Australia and New Zealand, US and Canada, UK and Ireland, or elsewhere), first set from your phone's language and region setting and changeable in Settings
• whether Spy Pig has already asked to send you reminders

None of this is sent to us or anyone else. The app has no accounts, servers, analytics, advertising or tracking, and makes no internet connections. Tapping a link to our website opens it in your browser.

Permissions

• Notifications (optional). If you stop partway through the questions, Spy Pig can remind you to finish, a day and three days later. Your phone schedules these itself. Turn them off any time in your phone's Settings, under Notifications.
• Photos (add only, optional). Asked only if you choose Save Image when exporting your summary card. Spy Pig can add that image to Photos. It cannot see your photos.

Spy Pig doesn't use your camera, microphone, location or contacts.

Sharing your report

You can export a PDF report or a summary card. Your phone's share sheet opens and you choose where it goes, for example Files, Photos, Mail or Messages. We don't receive a copy. Once you send it, the app or person you sent it to handles it under their own terms.

Deleting your information

In Spy Pig, tap Settings, then Clear everything. That removes your answers, results, name, ticks, reflections and check-ins, and cancels any reminders. Deleting the app removes everything, including your region setting. Copies you exported are yours to delete wherever you saved them.

We can't recover anything you delete, because we never had it.

If you email us

We receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply and to help with your question, and delete it when it's no longer needed. Our email provider may store messages on servers outside Australia. We never sell or share it. You can ask us to see, correct or delete it at any time.

This website

This website has no sign-up, analytics, advertising or cookies of ours. When you open it in a web browser, it loads fonts from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address and browser details, and our web host may keep standard server logs. The app doesn't carry a copy of these pages. Tapping a link to our website in the app opens it in your browser, like any other website visit, and the app sends nothing with it.

Children and young people

Spy Pig is made for any age, including school students. The app collects no personal information from anyone, including children. If a young person emails us, we use the email only to reply.

Questions and complaints

Email welcome@myspencer.ai. We'll reply within 30 days. If you're not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au, 1300 363 992).

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above. Using Spy Pig is also covered by our terms of use. Need help? See support.
